I am picky about my pizza, I order completly off the menu. When I tell some people what I get they tell me they didn't even now you could order it that way. I don't think it hurts to ask and if they can then why not. I like to go to Papa Murphys, it is a place that you can pick from alot of toppings, even exotic ones like artichoke hearts and they put your toppings on the crust that you want and you take it home and bake it. I get a thin delite crust, with oil and garlic "sauce", for toppings I get artichoke hearts, zucchini, onions, mushrooms, roma tomatoes, black olives, and chicken. It is really really good!

There is only two places in our city that we order pizza from. When I order one I know that I will at least enjoy it so why try some where else. I hate those places that do not even use real cheese. I love lots of cheese and lots of sauce on mine. I am very picky!!!! [bkfuels]
Im picky about pizza flavors too since im not really much of a pizza lover so there are only a few specific flavors that i eat- but having the option to choose your own pizza toppings! that would be heaven!, unfortunately here in the philippines there's no pizza shop that offers that kind of service yet. So if in case there will be and i wish there will be! because i would really love it...- my picked pizza flavor will that with lotsa cheese, semi sweet sauce, ham, lotsa bacon, pineapple, pepperoni, mushrooms and black olives, some green pepper will also do.. not too much of it though and no hot sauce please =) [catcai]

my favorite is sea food, i get prawns, squid, mussels,smoked oysters, scallops, mushrooms, onions, then a little bit of chicken and pineapple, all on a thick crust base, and the sauce tomato with herbs and garlic, it,s yummy [havachat]

I rarely order the "menu" options for pizza, like Meat Lover's or those type of specialty things. If I order pizza, I usually pick the specific toppings I want, and I have been known to ask for things that aren't specifically on the menu, or ask for extra sauce and such. My favorite pizza of all time is ham and pineapple, usually on a regular crust, but sometimes I like pan. I'm really not fond of thin crust at all, unless it's with "tostado" or "taco" type pizza. Right now my big thing is one meat topping (pepperoni or ham or bacon) with green peppers, onions, tomatoes, extra pizza sauce, and usually both mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. [lecanis]
Barbeque chicken pizza from this place down the road from me is all ill eat. it comes with barbeque sauce instead of tomato sauce, red onions, chicken slathered in bbq sauce, and bacon. the bacon is what really sets it apart. [sephiroth829]

Yep, very, but that is mostly due to my husband. I prefer Pizza Hut, generally, but he prefers Papa Johns. We order from PJ most often since they tend to be a little bit cheaper and my husband prefers their pizza. He won't eat any veggies, so we always have to get the pizza half and half. Pepperoni, sausuage, ham and bacon are about the only things he will order on his half, and generally just 2-3 at a time, changing them around to keep from getting bored or whatever sounds good at the time. I always get a Supreme. I love mushrooms, green peppers, black olives and onions on pizza, as well as the meats he chooses. Our oldest son (since the youngest isn't eating this kind of thing yet) will eat either. He isn't as picky as his daddy, at least as far as pizza goes. [lisado]
I love Pizza's from dominos and pizza hut.... the country i live in{INDIA} has a big craze for pizzas ----but making ur own personal menu is a rarity out here. i once tried it though when I ordered pizzas for an american colleague and they found it too spicy whereas for me it was normal...so i guess going with the regulars is a safe option. I usually order a pizza off the menu or add the other options to the pizza that you can have but will cost more money. I usually have pizza delivered from this place called Papa John's here and their pizza rocks. They have a variety of different toppings that you can have on a pizza, though I usually go with something simple like extra cheese or pepperoni. artichoke hearts is not exotic.. it is Italian. Í have been in Italy a lot and I do like original Italian Pizza with the toppings you describe. Favo Pizza has to be either the quattro stagione or the calzone. [brubru]
Well I do see your point of artichoke hearts being Italian but in a resturant in the United States it is kind of exotic to get that as a pizza topping. I am picky about pizza too. I only eat the kind with just cheese, cheese stuffed crust and light on the sauce. I also don't think it hurts to ask to order it a different. way. I'm not very picky. I actually had my first anchovie pizza last night--homemade! My favorite toppings are veggies. I love onions, green peppers, tomatoes, and mushrooms. I am not picky at all about pizza and I like to try new flavors or if a place has there own special kind or type of topping on it will try it so far have not found one that i did not like or wanted to try. My favorite from anywhere is Pepperoni and Mushroom. My favorite Pizza Place is Pizza King. I wrote a post on it and I got to say it is the best. I never order the pizza's like they come. I always customize my pizza's but I am allergic to onions, so I have to be careful where I eat out at. I can't eat Papa Murphy's they use onion powder in their sauce and it gives me a reaction. I also have to eat pizza slow, because of that, sometimes these pizza places are sloppy and a lone onion finds its way onto my pizza. [avonrep1]

Mmmmm...pizza. I like thick crust personally. I will eat almost ANYTHING on my pizza. But I refuse to eat olives or anchovies. There is a place in my old town called Pizza Cottage that just has the BEST pizza ever! The Pepperoni and Cheese was so good. And they had a BLT Pizza that was like a sandwhich, it has cheddar cheese, mayo, bacon, lettuce and tomato on it....Its been so long since I had it though, tasty-est pizza you ever had. I'm not that picky when it comes to food generally. I literally eat anything as long as it is safe to eat. When it comes to pizza, I like every toppings they put in it except anchovy's. I don't really know why I don't like anchovies. Some of my friends really like it a lot, but I really can't stand its smell and taste. I am a bit picky about pizza, but what I like happens to be on the menu. I only like cheese or pepperoni pizza. Or sometimes, I like barbecue chicken pizza, but with NO onions! I usually go for Ham and Pineapple lol, (yeah I'm boring I know) My partner likes any pizza that has pepperoni on it, but hates anything with Pineapple. We both go for thin crust though, neither of us is too fussed about a deep pan base. Yes I am picky too. I will eat just a regular cheese pizza or a pepporini pizza but I prefer mine a little different. I like extra sauce on it and light on the cheese. And Papa Johns is my favorite place. I think we've got one of the Papa Murhpys in town but we've never been there.
