I have been told I'm really weird because I love fruit on pizza. If I make a pizza at home I literally cover it in fruit (the base is still tomato and I still use cheese. I'll happily try any fruit on my pizza at least once as some do work better than others.
I think the best fruit to use are: pineapple (obviously!), strawberries, kiwi and bannana.
I know a lot of people will probably find this disgusting as I know plenty of people who dont even like pineapple on their pizza never mind any other fruit!

I have only tried pineapple on pizza and it is really good. They have dessert pizzas that you can put fruit on they are suppose to be really good. [Tina30219]
That is very unique indeed. Myself, I hate even a single slice of pineapple on my pizza! Haha, I just think fruit is better tasting when you eat it fresh and uncooked. I bet it would taste pretty good, and I think I know why. The salt from the regular pizza ingredients, like cheese and tomato sauce, compliment the sweetness of the fruits, and vice versa. That is why sea salt is so good on chocolates and caramels, and why chocolate covered bacon is a real hit. [wiggles18]

If you love pineapple chances are you'll love other fruit too! Strawberries are so good, they taste similar to when they are freeze dried in cereals etc. [MoodyLauz]

I have seen people put fruit on their pizza, but i have not tried this because it just doesn't seem right to me. I don't know how you eat something hot with cold fruit on it. I only eat fruit that is called. I eat my banannas cold and everything else. Im not much of a fruit eater unless my fruit is called. I know weird but everyone has there own ways of eating things. I don't hate it but I am not a huge fan :) I am kind of a picky eater and like things plain. The sweet does not go well with the rest of the pizza to me. Pinepple I have tried, but I have never thought about all the other fruits...unless it was a fruit cookie pizza of course... [jules532]
Nope, not for me, there are few and very interesting toppings that I have seen but I stay with the traditional styles. For me it just don't mix and it will be like trowing money to the garbage if I order a pizza with fruit on top. People that like pizza with fruits go ahead enjoy it, but not for me. [jossml]

Well, my favourite pizza is vegetable with cheese and pineapple, but I'm not sure I could see myself eating a pizza with different kinds of fruit on. I don't know why not, I think it's just what we are used to eating really. [karen1969]

For the most part, I have only tried pineapple on my pizza, yum hawaiian. anything else does sound a little bit wierd, but I am always up to try new things! Plus, if pineapple tastes good there has to be other fruit that does too. [Natara]
I have never really tried fruit toppings on pizzas before but the idea doesn't sound very appetizing. My favorite topping is spicy chicken so i get that pretty much everytime i have pizza. I usually like to have something i know i like instead of getting something im not sure about :) [adamc151]

When I used to have a job traveling a lot, I would get apple pie and have them heat it and add a slice of cheese on the top, excellent. Maybe you like fruit salad flavored pizza w00t. I haven't heard of any other fruit except pineapple which I truly adore. But I have nothing against other fruits being added on a certain pizza as long as there are veggies on my pizza like mushroom and green bell peppers plus lots of cheese. [strawberrychocodahi]

I actually don't think it sounds all that weird at all. I have had the pineapple on my pizza and it is absolutely amazing I think. Banana on pizza sounds not very appetizing but then again I haven't tried it. I wouldn't be opposed to trying any of them actually. That is how some great combinations of food are discovered. No I can't say I do put fruit on my pizza, although I have come across a "dessert" pizza. Instead of tomatoe base, it uses chocolate sauce or a fruit glaze instead. You can put anything you like on it. Fruit, chocolate, sprinkles you name it. It tastes great as well. [Bazerk]
No offense meant but that does sound kinda weird. But what is truly important is to experiment and to eat what makes you happy, right? I myself hate fruits on pizzas. i think i would not like it, i like pizza with vegetables normally and cheese but not fruits on it, if fruits are used over pizza the taste changes and i would prefer that. yes you seem to be a little weired but i think that each individual has its own taste and we just cant stop them having it. there are more people who like to try different but strange things. Whatever concerns pizza is my favorite because I love pizzas and I cannot stay without it for more than two weeks, so even if there are fruits on it that would be cooler to me. I have tried dry fruits on pizza and found it really tasty. [med889]

I think I will draw the line at pineapple (LOL).The idea of strawberries on pizza does not appeal to me although I do like strawberries with cream! I would have to say that I love fruit on pizza but I haven't tried more then pineapple on pizza. I'm sure that the fruits you suggested would probably be pretty awesome on pizza as well.
