I have heard some people say they just grab a piece of left over pizza from the fridge and eat it cold. I like to reheat mine. But not in the microwave. Because the microwave ruins the crust. i reheat it in the oven. How about you? Cold or reheated?

Sometime i will reheat left over pizza but I ususally will just eat it cold becuase I find it's not so much like eating leftovers that way. I find that the same pizza will taste completely different hot than it does cold, but I like pizza both ways, so eating it cold the next day makes for more flavor variety. [Nykkee]

I have eaten it cold, but I like it heated much better. I reheat it in the micro on low. It just takes longer and it doesn't get recooked. I think if you heat it on higher levels, that is what ruins it because it gets recooked. I don't know, but I am beginning to wonder how safe food is when it is cooked in the micro. [sigma77]

I don't normally at pizzas. Pizzas are common enough here but we do not eat them usually as regular meals. And so, pizzas are always ordered fresh and then gobbled up on the spot. If we really can't finish, maybe they will be saved for supper. Then we will heat it with the microwave oven if need be. If we have to leave it overnight, we will dump the pizza into the fridge then heat it up with the microwave oven. No I wouldn't want to eat my pizza cold. I can use the oven too now that you mentioned it. But I never had an opportunity to need to make this decision. So ok, next time, I might use the oven instead of the microwave one. :P [lordwarwizard]

We like it too, but lately for some reason we haven't had it that many times. Well during the summer we usually tend to go more for salads and cool things because it's so hot, so maybe that's one of the reasons, but not the only one since we didn't have much this last winter either. We like it better when we just buy the crust and add our own toppings the way we like them and we used to always have a few frozen ones in the freezer, but not that much lately. [arkaf61]
I've tried it cold but I think because I was starving, I've reheated it in the microwave, but as you say, in the oven or even in the stove is better, just cover it with aluminum paper and put it on a pan under low flame. Yummy [Rtlsnk316]

Ewwww cold pizza, that is disgusting, yuk! When all the toppings have congealed and looks like a dried up mess on top of piece of bread, I would throw it straight away! Not that I have pizza, being a health fanatic, can't remember the last time I went for a pizza or eaten one at home. If I couldn't eat it all then it would be binned! [wolfie34]

I am with you mssnow. I love to reheat pizza but it must be in the oven. My kids will eat it cold or micro it, but it just isn't as good that way. My mom eats it cold with peanut butter on it~ gross! [sunshine4]

I love cold pizza, but there are some pizza places that just taste better when you reheat it. For example, I can have Little Caesar's cold no matter what, it's just a pizza that is just as good not warmed up. But when you have 'gourmet' pizza or a pizza from a place that is more refined, maybe with more toppings and more sauces, then it might be a better idea to stick it into the microwave for a few seconds. sometimes I'll reheat it but usually I'll just eat it cold....If i DO reheat it though its in the microwave then into the oven to crisp it up...which seems like a lot of work and is most likely the reason I more often than not jsut eat it cold LOL [Ravenladyj]

I prefer to reheat my pizza. I don't like to eat it cold unless it's part of a buffet table, when I can manage it, together with quiche. I agree, putting it in the micro makes the crust sweat and it either goes all soft and soggy are too hard to bite, so yes, I avoid that too. It's best reheated in the oven. You're making my mouth water again, and I can't eat pizza on my diet, so I think it's crackers and cheese with pickled onions. A bit late at night but I'm sure I'll be up for a while. When we have pizza, there isn't usually any left over.lol. But when there is, I have no problem just grabbing a piece out of the fridge and eating it cold. My boyfriend won't do that. He has to have his warmed up but he uses the microwave. [brendalee]

I'll eat it any way that I can get it! I don't mind it cold and I don't mind it reheated. The kind of pizza that I like to buy, it actually makes the crust a lot easier to eat if I reheat it. I personally don't care though. I'll eat it right out of the fridge and be just as happy. My husband, on the other hand, will not eat pizza cold. He has never liked it cold, but now, he's on a gluten-free diet because he has Celiac Disease and the gluten-free flours are really gross when they are cold or when they are left out. while I do like cold pizza, if it is pizza hut pan pizza I much prefer it heated up in the toaster oven -(or big oven) the crust gets this incredibly crunch to it, oh my it is good! I like it better reheated than I do fresh from the restaurant. [Modestah]

I have reheated pizza before eating it, & I have eaten cold pizza as well. I usually like it better when heated. It depends on what I feel like doing. If I'm too hungry to wait or if I am pressed for time, I would eat it cold, & still enjoy it. Did you find out the hard way by using a microwave to reheat pizza? I wrap it in a napkin, give it 20-30 seconds, let it stand for a minute or two, then give it another 10 seconds or so... it spreads the heat through the slice and keeps it from getting tough. [alamode]
It depends. If im starving I'll go ahead and just eat it cold. Usually, i stick it int he microwave for about 30 seconds. I noticed when you refridgerate pizza the flavors are much stronger than they were freshly baked. That's the reason why i feel cold pizza is so popular. [marabdl86]
pizza doesn't taste great when they are cold. i like the hot pizza. so i heat the left-over piozza on the microwave-oven. i put a lot of hot sauce it too so it will get really hot. and that will add taste to the pizza. and i will have a great time eating that. i really love spicy food. i put hot sauce in my pizza and sometimes in my burger. there are lot of food that i put some child powder or some hot sauce. but mostly i put the hot sauce on pizza. thanks for your discussions. I can eat cold pizza if it's a meat pizza. Although, lately I've been eating veggie pizzas due to cutting back calories and fat intake. The thought of eating cold cooked vegetables is not appetizing so I reheat pizza now.
