I have never had anchovies on pizza before. I don't even have the slightest desire to try it. I don't even like the sound of the name "anchovies". Some people love anchovies on their pizza. I wonder why though. Maybe because they are supposedly salty. Have you ever had anchovies on your pizza?

Nope. I'm allergic to anchovies. But even if I wasn't allergic to them, I still wouldn't eat them. They just look a bit yucky to me. lol [spoiledbrat802]

I never have had anchovies on my pizza and I don't think that I ever would eat anchovies on my pizza. That does not sound good to me and I don't think that I would ever eat them. They quite frankly are nasty. I hate sardines and I don't think I would like anchovies also. [snowy22315]

I had them once when somone ordered it for me. It was unpleasant not to eat, as he paid for it, and you know what? It was not bad. It was very salty, but I had my coke and washed it down. me, on my own, I won't order anchovi any time soon. [ladynetz]

Yes I have tried anchovies ONCE. I did not like them because they were to salty as yo have said. All they are are little fish, smaller than the average minnow even. I think most pizza places have gotten away from even making them available because most people don't like them. Besides those little eyes looking up at you as you are aboutn to take a bite does something for your appetite. [eeyore39]
That's why i'm not eating any fish except canned ones. Or boiled fish without the heads. But my parents LOVE eating the heads of fish and just looking at them cutting the head off and putting in their mouths then CHEWING it takes my appetite and i often have to eat in the living room to avoid it. I get a craving for them from time to time and the only way I like them is on pizza. there is one pizza shop that washes them and soaks them in beer; that removes a lot of the salty taste of them and makes the a bit more tender. I've seen people eat them right out of the tin and there's no way I could ever handle that. I like the taste of them with a good sauce and dough but you have to go a little light on the cheese to get the total taste of the anchovies. [freak369]

I don't even know what Anchovies are. I always heard people talk about it on television but I have never been around anybody and have them say, "We want Anchovies on our Pizza this time"! So I have no idea. I do like Pepperoni, although I only eat it when the kids get it on there. I like to order the Garden Pizza or Vegetarian Pizza and I also like the Cheese Pizza. My favorite toppings are Mushrooms and Olives. I also like Tomatoes when they are done right. [lilaidi]

I never had anchovies on any pizza before too but everytime I hear it on tv or otherwise, I want to try it. Then I pick up the phone to place the pizza order and I chicken out since I'm too scared to order a whole pizza then waste it throwing it away if I don't like the taste. I have yet to have a friend who orders anchovies on their pizza so I've never even tried a bite of this. No way would I eat anchovies on a pizza. A pizza can have just about anything else except for anchovies. Anchovies are fuzzy fish. They are very salty. My brother used to deliver pizzas many years ago & he hated when anyone ordered pizza with anchovies. He said it made his car smell all week. Personally, I think he exagerated just a tad. [netmom27]

We once had a pizza that had anchovies on it, purely by accident, nobody thought when they ordered pizza with the works. I dont like them, they are far too salty, they are like little dead salted bodies, they taste awful to me. [buttercookie]
