Almost anything except those little fishies. I can do without the mushrooms but I'll eat them if they are in small pieces. I really love green olives and banana peppers. My son and I love just green olives and pepperoni but no one else in the family does so we'll share one whenever we get the chance. [jillbeth]
i also hate those little fishies or anchovies if i'm not mistaken. i usually eat fish however not as toppings for pizza... [neenasatine]
I mostly loved the pepperoni, green bell pepper, sausage and even hawaiian is also good and vegetarian kind of pizza for my toppings........ [cherylal]
we have the same favorite topping: i mean the green bell pepper and pepperoni. since i am also a veggie lover i enjoy eating garden fresh pizza in Greenwich (Philippines. Garden fresh pizza have also a lot of my favorite veggie toppings such as mushrooms, onions and green bell pepper [neenasatine]
When I was younger my favourite was ham and pineapple but in recent years I love spicy chicken with lots of peppers, mushrooms onions and extra cheese. I also like to dip into a sour cream dip. Mmmmmm [ellie333]
when we get older, our palate also changes... before i don't like to eat anything spicy...but now i appreciate it. when i was younger i don't like to eat onions but when i became older (i'm 25 years old already), onions became one of my favorite toppings for pizza..not only that, i also love dishes with lots of onions... yum yummy [neenasatine]
since you are also in the Philippines, not sure if there are branches worldwide, try dining at A'Venetto. You will like all their pizzas. :) I sure do. :) Thanks for the add. :) [drrt_801]
They are mostly located at malls. :) If you are somewhere in Quezon City, try going to Tiendesitas. :) You may also want to try their pasta. :) [drrt_801]
Mushroom, cauliflower and shrimp are my favs. Not sure I can eat shrimp anymore, but that doesn't mean I don't like it. I even prefer it without tomato sauce on it. [ElicBxn]
i also love mushroom as topping for pizza. i love to eat shrimp, in fact i love seafoods however not as toppings for pizza.i prefer to eat eat shrimps as tempura, stewed, grilled, steamed or as soup meal... you are the same as my closest friend since he also prefer pizza without tomato sauce... you make me remember him... thanks for responding and happy posting... [neenasatine]
I prefer plain cheese but don't get me wrong I love Hawaiian which is ham and pineapple on the same pizza I also like Pepperoni, and hamburg. The only reason why I prefer the plain cheese is because its less greasy and I can't handle the other toppings that I enjoy because I had my gallbladder out just a couple of years ago and I'm trying to give my body sometime to adjust. I will have pepperoni sometimes as well. [Crysi23]
oh i see..i feel sorry for you... that will be difficult since you need to adjust with your current condition... you should take care of yourself more.... i know you will be just fine... anyway back to our topic... we have the same favorites... i mean the cheese, burger and the pepperoni... like i what i mentioned earlier in response number 5 i have a friend who prefers having his pizza without tomato sauce..he prefer cheese rather than adding tomato sauce... he is more adventurous with regards to tastes since he is a frustrated chef, lol... well my friend to young so i believe he will achieve his dreams.. anyway the first time we both encountered a pizza without tomato sauce is in a restaurant when we were in Boracay... it is a tree house restaurant.. he ordered his favorite, the cheese and garlic pizza. its toppings are just plain cheese then toasted garlic..without tomato sauce... although simple, the taste is satisfying...worth paying for... i want to try it again sometime if we have a chance to go to Boracay again... happy posting... Now you're talking! Kudos for you in this topic! Why? Because most of us here are pizza lovers! I too make my own pizza from scratch, the dough, the toppings you name it. I make my own pizza's from italian, mexican and even my own style of filipino pizza - ever tried seafood pizza - don't get me started hehe! So far with pizza I make they don't last on the table! Now I am very picky where I buy my pizza - I don't like to buy them much from commercial areas. Now I have to say in the Philippines the worst place to buy pizza is Greenwich - now of course I've been to Pizza Hut in Naga City - they are alright, but when it comes to making my own pizza - the better - just to find the right toppings and finding the right prices what to buy. Then that's where San Pedro Laguna had all those varieties. But back here I go to the public pizza places the ones that say New York Giant Pizza - underground low profile places that people go to because these are the people that know how to make a very good pizza. Now speaking of toppings I like them in different forms and varieties. cheddar cheese, white monterry jack spicy cheese, bacon, ground beef, turkey beef, sausage, ham, pepperoni - Meat lovers of course mixed in oregano - got to have oregano for pizza. Chopped fish - tuna, tilapia, squid mixed in lemon, oregano, white monterry cheesy, pepperjack cheese - I've made this before and it didn't last on the table for a long time. Try making a seafood pizza also in shrimp, crab or lobster - MMMMM!!! Just typing it making me hungry. Cheddar cheese, pepperjack monterry cheesy, jalapenos, pepperchinis, ham, turkey, oregano - classic favorite as well. When I use pizza sauce I make sure it is Prego or buying the proper types that are Pizza Sauce. I've also made veggie delite pizza - green peppers, unions, chopped lettuice, tomatoes, olives, jalapenos and pepperchinis - pretty much what you'll find in supreme combo pizzas but no meat, just the various cheese toppings. Well have fun and enjoy your day! Hopefully one day I will open up my business place in the Philippines regardings of making pizza and other various foods! Happy Mylotting! [darkangel079]
woah..that's a lot of tips in making such homemade pizzas.... thanks a lot.... actually i really love varieties of pizzas... but those varieties should have at least two or three favorite toppings that i have mentioned earlier... i actually prepared pizza from scratch, only once or twice...can't remember since it was a long time ago... well i'm not really good in making pizza dough... so i rather buy pizza crust... nowadays i am very busy and don't have enough time to prepare my homemade pizza. i usually buy pizza either in Pizza HUt, Bun's N Pizza, Buddy's or Greenwich.... since those four are the only good pizza restaurants here in our vicinity...there's no other choice..anyway i'm here in Quezon Philippines... thanks a lot and thank you for the compliment to my discussion..happy posting... P.S. i am looking forward for your own pizza restaurant..just email to me the name of your business once you have established it... anyway i can give you some tips with regards in building a business especially restaurants, if you want to... [neenasatine]
I absolutely love veggie pizza. I also try and stay away from meat but I do like beef. I also like anchovies heh. [rifat1337]
i see. so you love vegetables... i have tried veggie pizza once from Greenwich...it taste good since it has my favorite toppings like bell pepper, lots of cheese and mushrooms... i am not sure if Pizza Hut (one of my favorite pizza restaurants) offers veggie pizzas... i also love beef... thanks for the response and happy posting... [neenasatine]
Hey Neen. I love pizza, I love your choice of pizza toppings, but most of all, I love girls from the Philippines. Anyway, I know you don't like them, but put 4-5 anchovies on a medium pizza with your favorites, skip the bacon, & enjoy! You will never again eat a pizza without anchovies. [robsonwin33]
Thanks again for responding. Must go to a staff meeting in 30 minutes. Just shutting down now. Will respond to your inquiry tomorrow. I am in Dallas, Texas right now. The girls I met were mostly from Manila & Quezon. Stay in touch. Happy pizza. [robsonwin33]
I'd like two types of pizza: n°1 "Biricchina" with Brie cheese and PARMA's ham, n°2 PARMA's ham, mushrooms and grill eggplant, It always with a lot of mozzarella end tomato sauce. My wife cook a great pizza! [biker75]
homemade pizzas are still the best... unfortunately i cannot prepare such anymore... happy posting [neenasatine]
I love papa john pizza, specially all mix meat & thin crush, it really yummy together with chicken wing & its hot.mmmmmmmmmmm delicous. [Ohara_1983]
hi 41862... woah that a lot of wonderful experience you shared in traveling here in the Philippines... right now there are a lot more nice places to go here in the Philippines compare to 11 years ago.. if you ever had an opportunity again to visit here in the Philippines try Amanpulo, Puerto PRincesa, Cebu, BOracay, Matabungkay Resort in Batangas, Puerto Galera and many more in metro manila there are a lot of new shopping malls and new innovative restaurants found there especially in the areas of Makati and Quezon city... try Rockwell Makati and Eastwood City in Quezon CIty.. thanks for sharing for wonderful experience..have a great day [neenasatine]
I like about everything that you can imagine but ketchup..i do not like this on my pizza..but some Filipinos do..do you? well, it is up to the person..but that would be like for me to put peanut butter on it..when people used to ask me what I wanted on my Pizza..i said everything but peanut butter..but this was just a joke..but also I don't care for anchovies as their taste over power the pizza and they are too salty too..(in the US anyway) but my wife loves anchovies but we used to make our own pizza at home..from scratch and most people don't do this anymore as it is too easy to just order out..but a lot of pizza places are not using the good ingredients and you have to check out the ones using the real cheese..etc etc..we have 13 different pizza places in our small city.. Italian food is number one..and then comes chinese..and then maybe Mexican..Taco bell and a lot of real Mexican food places...but my asawa had her own restuarant for awhile..and we served fast food, chinese food, fourteen kinds of ice cream and we were right on Lake Erie, Luna Pier, Michigan..but I miss the restaurant business as you always knew you were going to eat..lol.. [asawako48162]
have a great day =) [neenasatine]
Three things are a must for a pizza in my opinion. They are lots of cheese, tomatos and meat. I love eating pizza with them. [youless]
i also love those toppings..it seems there are a lot of pizza lovers here in mylot... happy posting [neenasatine]
I really hope that I can reply with this discussion well. Its because I am not a pizza lover. I only eat pizza with ham and cheese toppings. i dont want to eat food with lots of vegetables and mushroom on it. it makes me full a little bit faster and I do not enjoy eating it. I wonder why people love pizza. i hope I can enjoy eating it just the way you do. [lucky_witch]
hi lucky_witch... don't worry bout that..anyone can respond to my discussion well... with regards to your question why people loves pizza... well we have different palate or taste... it is just that your palate doesn't turns you into a pizza lover... and another reason pizzas have different varieties... some loves seafoods as topping some loves meat or just purely vegetables... in other words, pizzas cater to ALMOST everyone's palate because of different varieties to choose from... thanks for sharing your ideas and opinions..happy posting [neenasatine]
