We ordered it just after 8:30, they said it would take 40-45 minutes. So we kept ourselves busy with different things. Before we knew it it was 9:45 and still no pizza. We tried to call the shop and there was no answer! Neither of us ate dinner, that's what the pizza was supposed to be. By 10pm it was too late to order from someone else, everyone was closed at that point. And we couldn't go out and get anything because hubby's car broke down while he was driving home from work!

Hard luck! Did you find out later why they didn't? As for me this kinda thing never happened. Specially the Pizza delivery is very fast and they are even prompt during rains. Once, I remember, the delivery boy was virtually drenched in rains and still showed up in time! [mimpi1911]

yeah me and my brother both ordered pizzas on separate bills so we could pay separately, i ordered mine half an hour before he did and his arrived but mine never did, then when i rang up about mine they re-ordered it for me but when it turned up it wasn't the right one but it was free so i gave up arguing and ate it [OConnell87]
I have never had that happen to me. I have had it take a lot longer than they said, but I have never had one not show up. I would be calling them when they open today and asking them what happened to your pizza. Maybe if you raise a stink it will be pizza night for free at your house tonight. lol [lilybug]

Hello katsmeow1213 , I can't recall ever orderinmg a pizza that never showed up. That would be terrible. I would make a point of calling that pizza shop and reminding them of a lost pizza. I would also write a review of that place if nothing is done about the pizza you ordered. I wouldn't giver my name in the review but you can be sure I wouldn't let it go. [ds6413]

We don't ever have pizza delivered. We are so close to so many pizza places my husband just runs out and gets it. Did you ever find out as to why your pizza didn't come? Well, as Pizza is popual in China for eat out, so most of the time we order chinese fast food for lunch or dinner. It did happens like the food we order never shows up or they make a mistake of what we ordered!angry I think you should call and ask the pizza guy when there is no pizza showed up last night! Well it has never happened. Are you sure they were closed? They usually stay open until 12 midnight (24:00) or sometimes on weekends they stay open until 1AM (01:00). Are you sure they were really closed? We have gotten free pizza due to poor delivery services. We had a big party planned however due to conflicting schedules we HAD to have the pizzas delivered by 2:30 PM (14:30). I believe we were quoted a time frame of 30 minutes (we did order, I believe, around 20 pizzas but we did give them MUCH notice as we put our order in around 8AM-08:00). We even called later the day (before the time) to confirm it. We were assured that it would be just that wait length (30 minutes)...well it DIDN'T happened. It took then at least one hour and half (90 minutes). So we had to "cancel" the order but they said they were on their way. What happened? We talked to the manager and we didn't have to pay due to their poor service (and due to use being responsible and calling way ahead of time). Everyone did chip in and we left a BIG tip for the driver . In a way it made our party suck since some people had to leave (due to their schedules) but in a way it was nice to get all that pizza free! w00t Pablo [callarse1]

No, fortunately, all the pizzas I ordered were delivered promptly. If the pizza delivery was late, I was always given a discount coupon or a freebie. You should have called the pizza store the next day. If it were me, I would demand a pizza to be delivered the next day free of charge or at a discount. I would tell them that I was inconvenienced by them the night before. They could have called you to tell you that the pizza won't be delivered. [zzyw87]

that must have made you furious, we've never experienced something like that before. Most of the pizza parlors here have a policy of making the delivery for 45 minutes or else the pizza will be free. Most of the time, when we order pizza, it arrives before the time they say they were suppose to arrive. You should call them, maybe something happened. At least you'll get a confirmation and besides, maybe they'll give you some complimentary stuff for your trouble.. [orevro]

No, it has always showed up..but a few times we had doubts on a few occasion. The weekends are the worst and orders can get lost in the upheaval of activity..we have ordered pizzas at 8 before and not received them till 11 and one time 11:30 they dropped the pizza off on the delivery guys way home. I guess that is what we get when times are busy and it isn't a pizza place that promises to deliver in 30 minutes or less. [mtdewgurl74]
YOu mean that both cars are down? I am late in responding to this post so I am hoping that at least one car is now up and running. Yes, this has happend to us actually. But we were busy preparing for a hurricane and ordered this pizza as there was so much to do in battening down the house etc and it never showed up. I expect that they were scared that they would be caught in the storm or decided to all go home and prepare for the hurricane. We have to store clean water etc, get the yard cleared of anything that could cause an injury, check on supplies and it does take time. that is crazy, I would call and complain today if I were you. I'm guessing they either lost your order or delivered it to the wrong house. I think you should be nice... accidents happen but you should firmly insist that they give you some compensation... like a free pizza. I guess you better have something else on hand in case they get lost again. When a company messes up like this, I use their compensation to decide if I'm ever going back again. If they are generous and apologetic I usually give the business another shot, if not they are out. I also make sure I tell all my friends and family. After all the only voice the consumer has is the mighty buck. [glords]

They have to keep with the advertising. If they say delivery free if late, they have to give you free meal today. Depends who you ordered from. I know that calling main office may help. I would call to district manager and complain. Maybe your pizza was delivered somewhere else...... Im presently ina basement apt. They wont deliver to my door. Which is the back door of the house. They say they have a policy which says the delivery person can not go to a back door. A fact which i explained to them when i ordered but they never told me of they policy when i was ordering. If the landlord was not home i would not have gotten my pizza. Needless to mention i dont call them anymore. I have however sat ina dental clinic from open to close before. Seems they forgot i was there. [jdyrj777]
