I bought a frozen pizza last night. It was a mushroom and spinach pizza. I know those aren't you typical pizza toppings but it sounded good and I love mushrooms. It was a very good pizza, I was impressed. My favorite pizza toppings are just cheese, mushrooms and onions. Most people think I'm strange but I'd rather have vegetables on my pizza than I would meat. I'm not a vegetarian, but I do like my veggies. What toppings do you prefer on your pizza?

I like cheese, pepperoni and olives on most pizzas, but I recently tried a carne asada pizza from California Pizza Kitchen. It was soooo yummy! I usually order the Chinese chicken pizza, but I decided to try something different. I'm glad I did. I think I will order that when ever I go to CPK. I used to like pizza hut, but it's doesn't taste the same as in Hawaii. The pan pizza crust is so much better in Hawaii. In Los Angeles, the crust just seems like an oily, hand tossed, bread crust. I don't like it. I never eat pizza hut in California. [808nala]

I have found that I like spinach as a pizza topping. I am pretty much a veggie pizza lover. In the interest of not being difficult I will eat meat on a pizza, but I prefer not to. My husband on the other hand will not touch a pizza if there is not meat on it. [LuvBr0wn13s]

I work at a pizza place and have tried lots of different combinations. One of my favorites is a barbeque sauce instead of pizza sauce, chicken, onions and mushrooms. I also like plain cheese and veggies as well. No matter what the crust has to be thin crust and crispy. I think that I may have tried the spinach and mushroom pizza you are talking about. Did it have red sauce or white? The one I have tried has a white sauce and it is delicious. [breezie]

Spinach and Mushroom pizza is good. I have had it a few times before. I normally go for just sausage. My son likes a lot of meat on his pizza, so sometimes we do an all the meats pizza. I would be fine with sausage and mushroom really. [lilybug]

Pizza is one of my favorite meals and I like different combinations. I am picky about the sausage, so I only get sausage from a couple of pizza places. My favourite pizza topping is red pepper, mushroom, onions and loads and loads of cheese. I am not over keen on meat on a pizza. My daughters love pepperoni on theirs with extra cheese but I always pick it off mine. I also love the thin and crispy bases on the pizza over the deep pan ones as I hate too much bread also. Yes! happy I like peporoni. Its my favorite, but I did try some spinach pizza at Cici's and it wasnt bad. I like the cheese that they use at Cici's, but the best pizza of all is homemade because you can make the toppings the way you want them...lol and I like to put alot... [eaforeman6]
Mushrooms are my favorite pizza topping. I can't seem to get places to put enough mushrooms on a pizza for my liking. I once asked for a 3 topping pizza.... mushrooms, mushrooms and mushrooms. Pizza topping? Have you ever tried white cream sauce instead of traditional tomato sauce. In France, Alsace, there is a similar type of pizza. The shape is oval rather than rounded pizza. It is call "FLAM". The choices of topping almost similar with the pizza topping. Unfortunately, some recipe it do not have any Mozzarella cheese. [meow1978]

I would totally have to say the meat lovers. I like mine with all sorts of stuff on the top like sausage, pepperoni, onions, peppers, cheese, bacon, and anything else you could think of to put on a pizza. I like pizza like that because then you can have a little something in every bite you get. [dookie03]
I can totally see a spinach pizza being really good, especially if it's combined with some fancy cheeses, or some chicken, well basically I guess I would consider spinach a gourmet topping, since not all pizza places would put that on. Definitely sounds tasty. Me, I typically can handle everything and the kitchen sink on my pizzas. I love just getting all sorts of meat and veggies and cheeses, basically whatever looks good and whatever I'm in the mood for. Surprisingly I'm not too fussy on stuff like ham and pineapple for some reason, I like to have good peppers, ground beef, sausage, nice spicy toppings, with lots of flavourful goodness. There's nothing worse than a bland pizza. It's why I love this little pizza place I go to here in Winnipeg, all the toppings you want, same low price. Gotta love the secret little places like that. I really prefer, spinach and feta on my pizza. I will eat other ones, but if i have my choice, i'll get spinach and feta, its tasty, and the feta lends a bit of a salty taste, yum! [CurlyRed]
