To eat Pasta..I do !!
Last week we drove all the way to Edinburgh to go to the cinema,but first we went to pizza hut. I wanted pasta.I thought i had ordered pasta shapes but no it turned out to be tagliatelle (sp) lol..Now could loud eat it propely? Could i heck,it was falling about everywhere.I was shown how to use the spoon & fork to twist it ya know?
Still no good..So anyway i ended up cutting it with my knife & fork.Even that turned out to be pretty funny too..People were looking..i just stuck my tounge out @ them like my avatar..rasp
Later on i got dessert !! ..ur ya jealous ? w00t
So do you use a knife & fork @ pizza hut or any such place ?

Well actually it depends on what I am eating. If I am eating pasta or salad I'll use a fork or if I'm eating soup or whatever I'll use a spoon. I'll eat the meat with a fork and knife. But if I am having a slice of pizza or I am eating a hamburger, I will use neither and just use my hands. [trisha_nava82]

I use a knife and fork when I eat pizza... at least to the point where I can pick it up properly, without anything falling off, or it being too large a slice to eat politely LOL For long pasta, I always use a fork and spoon. I've never been able to eat spaghetti the way that seems customary for so many people which is to twirl some and put that in their mouth and then bite off the long strands and have them fall back on the plate. I see people do this all the time but I'd be uncomfortable eating that way. [thinkingoutloud]

I had a boy friend a while back. We started eating pizza. I did not take notice right away. And I grabbed my pizza with my hands, like I normally do. After a couple of bites, I realized he was eating pizza with a fork and knife. I really felt embarrassed. I have used a fork for pasta but never a knife. Never used a spoon and fork together to twirl pasta either. I don't get out much. The last pasta I had was at home. When I have spaghetti I will twirl a bit with my fork and than cut it through with the fork otherwise I'd just be twirling and twirling and getting a big wad on my fork that I couldn't possibly get in my mouth. Well for salads, pasta and sometimes really thick pan pizza I'll use a fork and knife. Other wise its a hands on affair. LOL We got pasta there the other night and I must say I was disappointed in it. They had over cooked the pasta so it was a bit mushy. I hate it like that. [TessWhite]

I usually don't eat at pizza hut. I just get delivery and then their driver gets lost and I have to call them a million times. Oh, I never eat any of their pasta dishes. I think it's called pizza hut for a reason, if it was a place for pasta they would have called it pasta hut. [BlueGoblin]
Funny you should say that. Pizza Hut were recently going to re-brand as Pasta Hut but it didn't happen. Maybe they realised that people generally prefer pizzas? Don't know the actual reason, but your post just reminded me of this. I think it would've been a bad idea as they're so established as Pizza Hut, and if they changed their name nobody would know who they were, and they might not buy their pizzas any more. [liquorice]
well yeah as a matter of fact i have noticed quite some people eat pizza at many other places like pizza hut with a knife and fork,.... and i tried it too one day but no fun in eating pizza like that..... so i eat pizza the way its supposed to be eaten....with my hands..... yummy!! thats when a pizza is been giving justice to..... Sounds nice, especially dessert - what did you have? I use a knife and fork if I use pasta, and if it's tagliatelle or any other spaghetti or noodle dish I do just what you did, and cut it up with my knife and fork. Otherwise it all falls off the fork, very little goes in my mouth and I'm there all night.. But if I'm eating pizza I cut it up into slices and then use my fingers. I'm not good a cutting pizza so it ends up in a big mess if I try to do it in small pieces. I don't mind about getting my hands dirty, (especially for the sake of food, lol!) I used to worry about people giving me dirty looks (you know, that look that means "Hmm, were you raised in a barn? shocked), but I really don't care any more. rasp Glad you stuck out your tongue at the disapproving folk. Hi Loud, Yes I even use a knife and fork to cut a burger and especially pizza, my girls laugh at me but I feel more comfortable eating that way. When I am eating pizza, I just use my hand. Of course if it is not slice yet, I use the knife. But as I put it in my mouth, I just pick it up with my hand. When I am eating pasta, I use a fork.happy [jpso138]
I prefer using my hands when eating pizza but not when I am dining at their restaurant. I would rather use the knife and fork especially if I would not be able to wash my hands before and after eating. I just don't want to have to worry about my hands being dirty or getting dirty so I would just use the utensils. [calai618]
