I love cold pizza from the fridge, heck even eat it for breakfast! I know it totally grosses some people out though. Do you eat pizza from the fridge or do you HAVE to heat it up to eat it?

I find leftover pizza taste even better then when it comes out of the oven but still have to heat it up to eat it as I don't like any of my food cold . Sometimes it depends on the pizza for me. We get a pizza from the place we prefer our wings and it's just not as good but we get a pizza with the wings as part of a "package deal". That particular pizza I have to heat up, something about their crust is just too chewy and hard (it's a hand tossed) and I just don't like it cold either. But most of the time... I don't mind if it's cold or hot! LOL [hockeygal4ever]

Cold pizza is my absolute favorite breakfast food. I especially love it if it is a crappy frozen pizza that was cooked the night before. I have also found it is probably one of the world's best cures for a hangover. [loved1]

Funny until about 5 years ago I would not eat pizza (or baby back ribs) well I have gotten over that ...eating with the fingers thing ...I love pizza now and I only eat it hot ...I don't like it cold ...My Mom will get it out of the frig. and eat it cold ...its funny to see her do that ... I think you can taste the grease in the cheese when its cold and it just feels greasey to me when cold ...so I much prefer to eat it hot ...and fresh made is even better ... [lifeiseasy]

I don't mind eating cold pizza. In fact, I love it more to eat things straight out of the fridge. I don't know how healthy that is, but I love cold milk and leftover pizza for breakfast. I don't think pizza is all that bad for you and actually is a great way for me to get some veggies in too! Of course, like anything... if you eat a whole pie in one sitting it can't be good! I love Pizza cold for breakfast. I got into the habit when I worked in a welfare office. My alternate was a young guy who ate out a lot at night and he would bring in leftover pizza which we ate with our morning coffee. I prefer to warm leftover pizza, as I love to get the thin crust and then reheat it to make it even crunchier! If there isn't time to reheat it, I will eat in cold in a pinch. To me, if the pizza is cold, the cheese is tough and I can see the grease congealed, and I feel guilty! When I heat it, it looks so much more appetizing and I can't see the grease congealed! If it's a really cold day it's nice to have my food more warmish, but I'm not one who has to eat three seconds after their meal is ready or freak out that it's gotten cold if I don't get to start eating for five or ten minutes. I am the same way. I will eat it cold for breakfast occasionally if I have any leftover. Some people have given me the same "ewww, nasty" reaction too, and I don't get it. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that it isn't what people think of as "breakfast" food so they're weirded out by the idea... I heat it up in the oven (to me it tastes better than it does coming out of the microwave) if the texture is too clumpy or congealed together (I am an EXTREMELY picky eater when it comes to textures, and it drives people up the wall, hehe). I'm not crazy about it being heated in the microwave... I prefer it heated in the toaster oven instead. To me it takes a lot better that way. If I have leftover pizza, I'm quite happy to eat it cold. I don't always put it in the fridge though - there have been times, if we've been drinking and ordered a pizza, that it's sat in it's box overnight, and I've consequently eaten it for breakfast. There is nothing better than Piping hot pizza right out of the pizzeria's oven.. This is my favorite way to eat it. If I can't have it this way then I prefer it cold the next morning. I rather enjoy cold leftover pizza. It makes a great snack / quick meal. There's a local pizza shop by me that has $3 8-cut specials on Monday and I usually buy 2 or 3 so I have the leftovers.
